I really enjoy a pattern that I can make not only for my daughter, but also for friends and family. Today I am going to show you my version of the Top Knot Tunic – Sister Style.
Growing up, my friends and I would coordinate our outfits in an attempt to look like “twins” or sisters. It’s no surprise that my daughter and her friend does the same. Luckily for her, she has a mom who loves to sew. Today for the top knot blog tour, I would like to share with you my version of the Top Knot Romper, Tunic, and Dress.
Top Knot Blog Tour
For the Top Knot Blog Tour, I decided to make sister style for my daughter and her friend. I used the same main flower fabric, but used different solid colors for the neckband facing, sleeve bands, and waistbands.
The there is even pattern piece on where button holes and buttons should be. Look how pretty the buttons look on this one.
There are also subtle ways to personalize the garment, such as using different colors for the sleeve cuffs, waistbands, and neckband facing.
Now that you’ve seen the details, it is now time for photos….
Oh and in case you’re wondering, it’s rolling down the hill approved too.
